How are my referrals and sales tracked ?
We track your referrals and sales via tracking links — also referred to as “Referral URLs” — and cookies. When a user clicks on your tracking link, we place a cookie into his or her browser, which helps our system recognize that it is your referred user. You can find your tracking link in your “My Account” dashboard.
How long does a Referral Affiliate cookie last ?
The affiliate cookie is stored for 180 days. However, if a previous Referral Affiliate’s cookie is already placed in the same user’s browser, it will be overwritten by the new cookie. VideoMac and VideoMac-dotOnline does not hold any responsibility for cookies that are deleted intentionally by the user.
Are there any materials available to use for promoting VideoMac-dotOnline ?
You can access VideoMac’s banners and other promotional materials in your “My Account” dashboard. You can also create custom Referral URLs to any specific VideoMac-dotOnline pages using the URL Generator located there.
How often is performance data (clicks and sales) updated ?
Performance data is continuously updated, and you will be able to see new clicks and conversions in a real time.
What if my referred sale doesn't show up in the report ?
There are several reasons why that might have happen, including but not limited to the following:
